The best way to Morocco from Canada is the direct flight from Montreal.
It’s only 6 hours and 30 minutes direct from Montreal to Casablanca, Morocco and it flies multiple times a week.
Sometimes you have the choice of 4-5 different times per day. Flights are provided by both Air Canada and Royal Air Maroc. Royal Air Maroc allows you to take a carry on and two checked bags for free per person each way. Air Canada allows one free checked bag. This is valuable if you’re someone who likes to come home with Moroccan rugs and pottery ;)

We recommend booking your tour as early as possible to ensure availability. Popular tours may sell out quickly, especially during peak tourist season. Flight prices rise sharply 2 months before takeoff, so our advice would be 2.5-3 months out for flight purposes. 

It really depends on which tour you book. But in general we recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a camera. Be very careful of your camera in the Sahara - the sand gets everywhere and can harm cameras. Some tours may require additional items, which will be noted in the tour description.
